Cross effect strip input fields can't be changed (in its properties panel) #46239

Blender 2.76-rc1 (it was always like this)

After creating Cross effect with two strips, if I delete one of those strips and create another, I can't change the strip to be affected in "input 1" and "input 2" fields of its properties panel, as the screenshot shows. I have to delete the Cross strip and create a new one.

Sorry this OT, after clicking "create", I wanted to change its title by adding "VSE"... but I can't edit its title.

Don't I own this report? This comment can be deleted, then.

Well… those widgets should be disabled in fact, there is no (proper) way to set them from UI. Effect strip inputs can be re-assigned with R shortcut (you simply re-select your two desired input, just as if you were to add a new effect, and hit R).
