System Information
OS: windows 10
cpu: i7-3630QM
GPU: GT 740m

Blender Version
Broken: (2.76 48f7dd6)
Worked: (unknown)

Short description of error
Lines of particles appear from -x to x from the mesh when a displacement modifier has been applied.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. add a sphere
  2. add a displacement modifier with texture to the sphere
  3. apply the displacement modifier
  4. add a particle system and emit from volume grid

P.S. if you do not apply the displacement and use "use modifier Stack" in the particle tab the particles do not use the displaced mesh.
