Blender Version 2.78 RC2. fix [#26712] Particle group instance 'Use Count' value gets reset on file-load.

UPD.
group_particles_use_count.zip
Load up the attached "group_particles_use_count.blend" file. Change the particle counts and save the file. Then open it again. The count changes will be lost.

When loading the file, all the counts will be labeled "no object" and then reset to 1.

Please always attach .blend file which demonstrates the issue and exact steps needed for that.

@mont29, could in theory be something related on lib remap, but can you guess something here without having a .blend file?

Not sure… would doubt this is due to remapping stuff, though, afaik dupli handling is beyond data-blocks handling.

Would rather suspect bcc863993a, in which case new behavior is expected, user has to ensure some scene update before relying on duplis' data.

but quite hard to be sure of anything with a complete valid report indeed!
