When a gizmo is already selected from the tool bar.Using the alt space bar pie menu to switch to another gizmo doesn't work

Choose a gizmo from the toolbar(ex:rotation)>choose a different gizmo using alt space(ex:translate)>the gizmo doesn't change(ex:still rotation)
