Graphics card:

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.83.6
Worked: blender-2.92.0

Short description of error
Two polygons are stuck together by one vert. There should be 6 separate polys.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Create a Cube, select everything and mark all edges as seams, unwrap

I am getting this from an unwrap (similar in both 2.83 and 2.93):

Could you try to explain again exactly how you unwrapped to get them UVs stick together?

I selected every edge with A key then I pressed ctrl+e, then selected mark seam. U key -> unwrap. But I also tried to select the edges manually and unwrap but the results were the same.

The same you did in the video.

Hm, not sure how we could progress here.

Also noticed you mentioning this is working in a newer version (2.92) and not in 2.83 (LTS).
If this is fixed in a newer version, this would be a request for backporting this to 2.83?
Also: have you checked if this is still an issue in a fresh build from https://builder.blender.org/download/?

In the given file, if the steps are repeated, correct staircase pattern shows up, instead of the report broken one.
Checked in 2.83.6, and 2.93 today.
Closing due to no response for over a week and not being able to redo with given steps.
Please report if it can be redone with any steps and we'll reopen the report.
