Blender Version:
Broken version: 3.0.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-04-30 05:16, hash:
8a1d3bf2b1
Worked: 2.92
Caused by
bbe6d44928
Short description of error:
When in Cycles viewport rendered mode and a collection is changed to have the viewlayer property "Indirect Only", this change is not reflected in the viewport unless you change to a non-cycles mode then back again. This "bug" first started occuring in Blender 2.93 and is probably related to
bbe6d44928
which has caused many other issues just like this. I'll CC @kevindietrich in just in case.Note: This issue also affects the Cycles-X branch of Blender. Just so @brecht and @Sergey know.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error:
Collection
in the outliner and selectView Layer -> Indirect Only
. Notice how this does not have an effect in Blender 2.93 but does in 2.92.All the other view layer optioins (set holdout and disable in view layer) seem to work just fine.
Here's a video demonstrating the issue.
