Blender uses 100% CPU & RAM with Cycles even with only GPU selected. #94214

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: ASUS Strix 3080ti OC
CPU: i9-9900K
RAM: 64gb @ 3200mhz

Blender Version
Broken: v2.93 & v3.0
Worked: Never did.

Short description of error
So im trying to render out an animation i made for a scene. Everytime i hit "render animation" (or even as a video file), my CPU & RAM spike to 100%. I've made sure im using OptiX (even tried CUDA) with ONLY the GPU ticked. In Cycles i have GPU compute enabled. The funny thing is, I can render the scene in the viewport as it is intended to look without any issues, but as soon as i try to render it as a video file or ever an image the CPU & RAM spike. GPU usage sits at approx 10%. I dont even seem to be able to bake textures. The spikes make Blender crash and I have no idea what's going on. I first thought it was my version of Blender and then updated to v3.0 without any luck.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Would provide, but i doubt this is an error that can be reproduced.

Please open Blender's installation directory and double click on the blender_debug_gpu.cmd. This will start Blender in debug mode and create log files. Try to reproduce the error again. Once it crashes or you close Blender manually the Windows Explorer should open and show you up to two files, a debug log and the system information. Add them to your bug report by clicking on the upload button as shown in the screenshot below or via drag and drop. Please also upload the crash log located in C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Temp\[project name].crash.txt if it exists (or simply type %TEMP% into the path bar of the Windows Explorer).2019_12_04_upload_icon_developer_blender_org.png

Maybe these infos help us, otherwise a test blend file to reproduce the issue would be helpful.
