Subdivision Surface #97325

System Information
Operating system: windows 10
Graphics card: vga 2gb

Blender Version
Broken: when I create a cube object and then give the effect of "subdivision surface" the object immediately disappears. can appear after pressing apply, even though it shouldn't be pressed apply can be seen
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected) 3.1.2

can you check if disabling GPU Subdivision in the User Preferences fixes it? https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/editors/preferences/viewport.html?highlight=gpu%20subdiv#subdivision

This issue has been seen on few old AMD GPU/GPU drivers
And we already have a report for it: #94936 (GPU subdivision option with subdivision surface modifier collapses geometry (AMD GPU))
