Cannot turn off Windows Console window inside Blender 3.3 #97813

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19044-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 457.51

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.3.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-05-03 11:49, hash: f586c3ba21
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
When one turns on 'Windows/Console' and then tries to turn it off, one cannot. The 'X' is grayed out. You must turn off Blender.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Turn on Blender,
Turn on Windows/Console
Try to turn it off. There appears to be no way except to turn off Blender. If you have work that needs to be saved, its going to be lost. I also tried typing in 'end', using escape key, etc.

It occurred to me to let you all know about this. I thought, it has a X on the top right to turn off the Console, but its grayed out for some reason. I have tried Alt-F4. Only turning off Blender and restarting it gets rid of the Console window.

I was trying to figure out why Blender is crashing on my project when I export it via the SDK, hoping Console might shed some light on that, and found this happening. I thought I should report it.

Great to see 3.3 is out! Christmas!

Window->Toggle System Console should hide it again, the X is disabled since the console window is actually blenders main window, you close it with the X it closes blender instantly without saving, people lost work, so for safety it is disabled.

Closing this ticket since X is disabled on purpose
As Lazydodo said, you can hide console window again from {nav Window > Toggle System Console}
