Short description of error
I'm trying to apply "Subdivison Surface" modifier to my object (donut) but the Realtime Display modifier in viewport doesn't work, it make my object dissapear. Then i just apply the modifier, the object re-appeared and got aplied modifier to it.
So technically this is just the Realtime Display modifier in viewport got problem, maybe? as far as i concerned.
Interestingly when i added another modifier such as "Array" modifier to it, so there's 2 modifier on it (the "Subdivison Surface" is first and the "Array" second), the Realtime Display modifier in viewport works just fine with applied modifier on my object even before i click apply on that.
I test it on other modifier and some did work and some doesnt, still dissapear. I though this is because im using intel hd graphichs card ... yea maybe this one is the problem too xD.
And another one things i got this things works is just by toggle off the "GPU Subdivision" on the "Edit > Preferences > Viewport > Sudivision > GPU Subdivision". Maybe this feature isn't intended for this graphics card xD.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Temporary fix for this problem is to turn off / toggle off the "GPU Subdvision" that you can find on "Edit > Preferences > Viewport > Sudivision > GPU Subdivision"
