System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19044-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 511.79

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.1.2, branch: master, commit date: 2022-03-31 17:40, hash: cc66d1020c

Short description of error
When I go into UV Editor the unwrapped object doesn't appear on the texture. I first realized this while working on a plane, but I tried cubes and other shapes and it still didn't work. I also tried to upload the texture again and that didn't work.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Just open up blender and try to unwrap the UV.

I cannot confirm this issue. The object as is in your file appears correctly unwrapped and displayed above a newly created texture image in the UV Editor Image view. Please, note that there are non seams on your object, therefore if you use Unwrap nothing will happen, you've to use eventually the Smart UV Project operator.
Your object is way too big, as well as the entire scene scale, having dimensions of Kilometers. Try to stay within more reasonable dimensions. Anyway, this doesn't seems to be the cause of the issue you're experiencing.

I also can't confirm this issue. If I go into edit mode on 'Cube' and 'Cube.001' they show up in the UV edit window (assuming these are the objects you are having issues with).

I'm not sure of your knowledge level so apologies if you already know this... for faces to show in the UV edit window you need to select the object, press TAB to go into edit mode, then press A to select all of the faces, otherwise nothing shows in the UV edit window. Another thought... do you mean that there is no texture showing on the objects themselves? If so, note you don't have any materials assigned to those objects to show the texture.

I'm a bit unclear what your actual issue is though from your description. If these comments don't help, can you elaborate to help us reproduce the issue?

EDIT: Ah... I just twigged from the missing texture name which object you were having issues with, the 'Plane' (that looks like a road). When I edit that object I see the UV map, and when I replace your texture (you didn't include that with the blend file) the texture shows up fine in 3D.

Pete.
