Hello all .
I would like to highlight a problem that has existed since the beginning of the Blender program
It does not support the Arabic language at all and causes a lot of problems for users who write in the Arabic alphabet
I would like to correct this problem, which has persisted for a long time, as the Blender program shows writing an error in the user interface and file browser, or when writing 3D text, it requires me another program to correct the way the writing is displayed

This has been a known limitation of Blender for as long a it has existed, so not really suitable for a bug report.
This issue has not been addressed because this project has never had an Arabic-speaking programmer who has volunteered to help with this. Without that it falls on English speakers to figure it out. It is on my personal "to do" list, but not sure when I will get to it - by the end of the year would be nice. https://developer.blender.org/T94030
I am not a programmer. But isn't the problem with Unicode?
Or maybe you mean to translate the program because it is not necessary, all that is required is to display the writing correctly, at least in the user interface, and it is not required to be full support
If an Arabic programmer is required. Can you tell me what are the requirements to carry out the work? Maybe I can find a volunteer
No, it is that Blender does not (yet) have support for right-to-left text, which requires an implementation of the Unicode Bidirectional Algorithm, for which we will probably use FriBiDi . This is complex because we have to support runs of text for many languages at once.
We also don't support complex text shaping, which is mostly the substitution of different glyphs depending on whether the character is in the beginning, end, or middle of a word. For that we'll probably use HarfBuzz .

It seems very complicated. So will there be plans to address this problem in the future?
Yes, I gave a link to my plans to address this problem earlier in this thread.

This looks great, thanks
