  • Makes it possible to show a vertical line for every marker in the graph editor.
  • Makes the marker line visiblity optional in the sequencer and graph editor.

Any reason for this to not be available in all animation editors? (Timeline, Dopesheet, NLA). I think it could be useful and it's also less confusing than having a scene-wide tool (markers) with editor-specific display features.

Could work in all animation editors, I guess. (I tried and it does not work out of the box, but that should not be too hard to fix.)

So you mean we should have a global switch to turn these lines on and off (in the user prefs)?

I would not have this be a global toggle, this is a very specific view related thing. Users might want to work with these things enabled in the dopesheet but not in the graph editor and vice versa.
