Blender Version
Broken: 3.3
Worked: 3.2.2

Short description of error
screenshot.jpg
Somehow the behavior of either the Geometry Nodes or the Bevel modifier is different between version 3.2 and 3.3.
What's the change causing this behavior?

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

It seems 3.2 stored the attribute as a Vertex Group, which can be seen by applying the GN modifier. While in 3.3, it is stored as an attribute, and it doesn't work due to #100042.
Not sure if this is expected, so tagging the module for more information.

The long term plan is to move away from vertex groups in favor of attributes, so that's probably fine.
In addition, it seems that attributes can only be used within nodes so far.

Ok fine, then my question is, in this example, how can I tell the Bevel Modifier to affect only specific vertices?

If you create an attribute and edit it with attribute edit modifiers, without geonodes, then everything should be fine, I think

The issue is that I need to do the beveling only on specific vertices which are selected only in the GeoNodes setup, what would be a workaround for doing that?
