Short description of error
Enabling and disabling stereoscopy turns VSE preview black. Preview is unusable after this.
I found a way to turn the video preview back.
at the same time, the preview will look very strange (the image in the video preview is an image from the splash screen, not from the video clip)
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Preview is black.

this can be repeated with any video file, tested by another user.

I've looked into this one and the issue is caused because
wm_draw_region_stereo_set
is only called when stereo is in use, so multiview_eye is left asSTEREO_RIGHT_ID
after disabling stereo rendering. Most editors don't actually check this, since
wm_draw
does most of the setup, butsequencer_draw
does insequencer_ibuf_get
.Either setting up the region stereo setting to
STEREO_MONO_ID
inwm_draw_window_offscreen
or retrieving the active view withGPU_viewport_active_view_get
insequencer_ibuf_get
can fix the issue.I think doing both could be desirable anyway, but I may be missing something.
@fclem?
Oops! Too late. I didn't notice the commit.
