Short description of error

There is no reason the object visibility should not be carried over when the collection is moved or linked to another scene.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
load the attached .blend

select the TEST collection in scene.A

left click drag onto scene.B while holding ctrl to link the collection instead of moving it. Moving the collection has the same affect

open scene.B and check the visibility

This might be the expected behavior, because the visibility is stored per instance of object in the viewlayer, so when the object moves to a difference scene and viewlayer, the visibility in that viewlayer resets.
But I will wait for more information from developers.

@OmarEmaraDev I understand that it might make sense but from the usability point of view this is a hellish workflow, which just happened to me. I had to figure out which objects were disabled which were not in the viewlayer when I moved collections between scenes.

This should not reset the object visibility at least when a collection is linked between scenes.
