Sound not working on 2.33 and CVS

Resolution: Investigate

I am unable to hear any sound when I load a WAV file
into the Video Sequencer Editor and then use the
View->Play Back Animation on 3D view. This is Blender's

sound init audio [At initialization]
Couldn't open audio: No available audio device [When
requesting for the playback]

I can hear the sounds I load on previous versions like

I could not track the error by looking directly into
the file that prints the error message because
audio_init() in source/blender/src/seqaudio.c is beign
called with the same parameters (SDL_AudioSpec
*desired) although SDL_OpenAudio() is failing in 2.33
and CVS and not on 2.32. The bug may be somewhere else,
but was unable to find it.
