version 2.64 (sub 9), revision b'52231'. b'Release'
build date: b'2012-11-15', b'13:40:43'
platform: b'Linux:64bit'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Event Timeline

Please mention exact linux version you're using. If you've xorg.conf in /etc/X11 it could also help seeing it. As an addition having x server log (usually it's /var/log/Xorg.0.log) could also help tracking down the issue.

Also, is it only blender who're missing pressure or other software (like mypaint or gimp) also misses the pressure?

Hi Sergey!

I have ubuntu 12.10 with all updates until yesterday, ubuntu 12.10 recognized the cintiq 22HD out de box and the pressure works fine with, gimp, my paint, krita ect,.. but
not with Blender, I Have a bamboo in the same computer and the presure works in Blender, A demonstration is in the video https://vimeo.com/53713339

Take care

Daniel

Videos are rarely useful for fixing bugs -- we do believe you've got issues and in this case we need to underdstand why you've got them. Since nobody from active develoeprs has got such a device, please follow the instructions and send us your xorg configuration and log files as it was requested in previous comment.

Ok! I'm not at my work place this weekend, so I'll send you the xorg configuration and log file monday morning.

Take care and thank for your time.

Daniel

Some updates,

Scenario 1 :
Two wacom tablets in the computer, a Bamboo and cintiq 22HD, both at same time works perfect in My Paint (for example) but cintiq presusure don't work in Blender

Scenario 2 :
Only Cintiq pulg in the computer, the pressuere works FINE in Blender!

Eeeh.. Just for the future -- files could be attaches here, no need to dump their content into a comment..

Perhaps root of the issue is two tablets attached to computer. Our GHOST seems to be dealing only with one tablet. Will check if it's easy to remove this limitation, otherwise will move it to TODO.

Thanks a lot ofr the info!

:)

Supporting several tablets in blender is doable, but requires some ode re-design. Before Ton left to vacation, we discussed changed in tablets area with him and he asked to wait a bit with larger code changes since Mike Erwin (i hope i'm not mis-remembered name) has got patches for quite major changes in tablets support. Will check with status of this patch when Ton is back.

For until then marking issue as a TODO and adding it to wiki page http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:2.5/Source/Development/Todo/UserInterface#Tablet_Support
