Tab completion does not work when appending
Closed, ResolvedPublic

System Information
Archlinux x84_64

Blender Version
Blender 2.69, from arch repos

Short description of error
Using tab completion in the file manager when appending does not work. (nothing happens)

Also as a side thing (not sure where to put this), selecting a single .blend or directory (as will often happen when using wildcards) and pressing enter causes blender to attempt to append the item and give the error "Not a Library". Perhaps it would be better if blender recognized when a single .blend or directory is selected and entered it instead?
Also when blender gives the error "Not a library" when an invalid item is selected for appending it returns to the 3D view, IMHO it would be less distracting if it simply gave the error in the file manager without leaving.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open blender
  2. Press Shift+F1 (append)
  3. Try using tab completion (wildcards work fine though)
