Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open an image in the UV/Image editor
  2. Display the Histogram, change to "RGB", then select "Display line rather than filled shapes"

I can't reproduce the issue, it shows the green line here. Can you attach a .blend file (with packed image) that shows the problem?

If we still can't redo it then it's most likely some OpenGL issue related to the graphics card or drivers.

Yes, I hope it help you. histogram-line-bug.blend If there anything else I can inform, let me know.

Actually it doesn't need an image, I can reproduce it with world background color:

I see the green line here, so it's likely a bug in the graphics card or driver. There should exist a workaround but it's difficult to find without having this hardware.

Thank you! That's a non obstructive bug, since I can still watch the Histogram in its "filled mode", but I hope it can be fixed.

I Tested older versions of blender (2.65, 2.64, 2.63), none of them have the Green channel in RGB Histogram. Few time ago I had troubles with Inkscape not drawing lines, and I discovered it was related to the Global Menu of Ubuntu. Disabling it worked to Inkscape. I tested right now with Blender, with no success. :-(

I tried this with Mesa drivers on Linux but couldn't reproduce the bug. This is pretty clearly a graphics driver bug, and it's with a graphics card that is below our minimum requirements, so we can't officially support it, closing this report.
