System Information
OSX 10.9.1 and Windows 7

Blender Version
Broken: 2.69 and higher (that I had tested...)

Short description of error
If you have "region overlap" activated, when you hit "T" or "N" hotkeys or use the menus to hide the shelfs, it is not shown the "+" icon in the viewport in order to reopen the shelfs. If you hide the shelfs with the mouse the icons appear properly.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I have tried with "region overlap" deactivated and they behave as expected so I guess in something related with that feature...

After more testing I have discovered it's something related with my custom input configuration! weird stuff... I still have no idea why it's happening but if I set the input scheme to any of the default presets it works flawlessly.

If you want me to test more deeply what's is happening in my custom preset just let me know, if not you can close this issue... and sorry for the inconvenience.

Well, if you have the will to investigate further your custom config to try to spot the glitch, it would be great - and we would reopen this report if you can find an easy and simple way to reproduce the issue… But for now, I think we can close it. :)
