Dope Sheet keyframe navigation on selection-only issues and bugs #39616

Short description of error
There are 2 issues here:

1. When "Show only selected channels" option is enabled the Armature channels lists all existing keyframes of that armature.

When you try to navigate the keyframes using up/down arrows it loops over all these existing keyframes.
Showing all the keyframes on the Armature channel might be useful but looping over all of them is not.

This becomes a big problem on complex rigs with many bones.
Basically keyframe navigation becomes useless because there are too many keyframes.

The animator is only interested on the selected channels,
and wants to jump from keyframe to keyframe (like in traditional animation).

2. Secondary issue is that some keyframes appear in yellow in the Armature channel.

These are selected keyframes of bones from hidden bone layers.
Not only are these bone unselected but they are in hidden layers so they definitely not be shown.

However fixing the #1 problem might fix this one automatically.

  1. That's actually an unrelated issue - see #34993
  2. This is indeed a limitation with the current approach, where such channels just blindly included everything from the action in the past, since that was the easiest (and assumed to be, but perhaps not) fastest option. I've got this on my todo list.
