Short description of error
Simplify Curves changes too many f-curves.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I am using the Blender version of the Eleven RIG from the 11secondclub.com.
Eleven RIG
I have animated the neck controller to move the head. I have also animated an eye blink. I select the neck controller and press space bar and activate Simplify Curves by typing in the name of the operator. In the tool box area I type in 0.1 for the error and a new f-curve is generated for my neck move. Great, however, my eye blink is gone? I assume this is because the operator has simplified the eye blink as well thus eliminating the animation.
Shouldn't the operator only simplify the curve for the currently selected object/objects?
I am attaching my BLEND file so you can try it out for yourself.
Play the animation and observe the eye blink. The neck controller is selected so all you have to do is press space bar and type in Simplify Curves (assuming you have the AddOn enabled) and type 0.1 in the error field. Play the animation again and the eye blink is gone.27_RIG_Eleven_head_turn_1d(eric_vale).blend
