Short description of error
A curve is the target of a curve modifier for a mesh object. The curve is not rendered and shall not be rendered. The object and the curve belong to Group1. An instance of the group is part of Group2. If Group2 is instanced in another scene, the viewport display is correct but Group2 is rendered at the wrong position.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open CurveAndGroups.blend and render: Viewport display is correct but group instance is rendered at the wrong position.

The issue is that the curve used to deform the planes has 'Render' disabled.

This used to work in 2.68 but fails in 2.70.

I'm quite sure this is another case of Blender Internal breaking dupli object obmats ...
It works in 2.69 as well, and with Cycles it renders correctly.
