Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The download links on http:www.blender.org/download/ point to blender-2.71.tar.gz, which does not exist on http:*download.blender.org/source/. It is named blender-v2.71.tar.gz there. For packagers, it would be incredibly helpful, if the released package follows a stable naming scheme, so that they do not have to change download links and package names on each release.I recommend to get rid of the vand follow the naming convention that applies to the previously released packages on http://download.blender.org/source/

Thanks for letting us know about the issue. The issue was that the filename was being determined via the TAG in git. For now we have renamed the source tarball. I left a note with the people that make the tags that we need to stabilize them as well. I'll keep an eye on it next time and make sure it's constant.
