Please do not set priority yourself!

And we do not accept reports from third party builders, only reports from latest official release (2.71) or our buildbot are valid, please try with one of those.

Ah yes, indeed, sorry about that…

Now, in theory, official builds are self-sufficient, they do not need any extra lib… Just in case, did you try to re-download the full blender archive? might be some corruption of some sort.

Seems you've got interference with the blenderi nstalled to your system. You need to type ./blender from your blender-2.71-linux-glibc211-x86_64 folder in order to run build from this directory instead of the system one.

OH @Sergey u are right.

./blender
connect failed: No such file or directory
Read new prefs: /home/test/.config/blender/2.71/config/userpref.blend
found bundled python: /home/test/Downloads/blender-2.71-linux-glibc211-x86_64/blender-2.71-linux-glibc211-x86_64/2.71/python

we can set my problem as: SOLVED.

@mont i will report the bug to maintainer of gentoo. because it seems to be the there is a bug in the linux blender repository

Cool to hear blender works for you now :)

And yes, in debian/ubuntu we already experienced issues coming from different versions of yaml and so. but those are to be solved by maintainers.

Thanks for the report, closing it now :)

Blender doesn't use yaml, some of the libs blender uses are using yaml. It's really up to the package managers of linux distros to keep stuff consistent. We can't really do anything about this.
