Blender Version
Broken: (all versions)
Worked: (none)
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1.Create any object add UVmap create a texture set textured method to shade object
2.Go to tex paint mode try to paint anything.
3.Go to other mode(edit, sculpt, object, weight paint or vertex paint) and back to tex paint, repeat 2-3times(and texture crashed)
4.go to tex paint mode, try to paint anything(paint was incorrect) and press ctrl+z(texture was recreated)

I can't reproduce this but we need more information:
The hash of blender that reproduces the issue.
Is this on a recent buildbot with the new texture paint tools? Is it an official release?
Add UV map means by unwrapping in edit mode?
Adding texture on the material or in image editor?
What type of texture?

I don know what is this
what is hash?
this is all versions 2.63 - 2-71 from blender.org
What is buildbot with the new texture paint tools?
Is not important, maybe without material, only UV map with texture, textured shadow mode(not solid, wire or bound box), maybe in GLSL (then you must create material),create a texture(is not important how and where, and use in diffuse, intencity, col and intencity specular, bump or stencil),if you open(not create texture),then work without bug.
If i create tex 32 bit float - without bug.
simple texture in UVmap(maybe don't save),32bit float - without bug. use alfa - not important.
in solid shading mode - without bug.
in rendered shading mode - without bug.
in 3d view or in image editor to paint - not important
This bug only in 3d wiev, on render all correct.
I will upload blend file. You can open it,go to other mode(sculpt, object, edit, weight paint or wertex paint) and go back to tex paint, repeat 2-3 times.
if you go to paint mode, then to others, then back to paint and paint anything and then repeat - work without bug.
For activate the bug you must go to paint mode,go to other and back and (don't paint anything) repeat 2 -3 times.
P.S. I creating all textures in blender, not downloading from net, this is very important for me,please, fix this bug...
Of course if we can reproduce we'll fix. Waiting for the file...
Can i upload the video, showing the bug?
A file would be preferred but a video might help too.
paint_bug.blend
Open this file, go to other mode(for example object mode) and back and repeat 2 times
Works OK here. Can you reproduce the crash if you restore factory settings? Can you post the content of the system.txt file (to generate go to Help -> System Info and open the file in text editor)
system-info.txt
I loaded a factory settings, and reproduced this bug again.
And else, i don't know why in platform write 32 bit? I have a 64 and i was download version for 64 bit.

@Inwader77 apparently you have the official 2.71 release, could you please try with a nightly build ?

in all this versions:
2.71.3(
ee8dafe
),2.71.3(3d4f540)
2.71(
81c3fc9
)working with bug
but in both 2.71.3 - to activate this error we must create material with this texture, because in this builds create normal map, texture material, image, and we can see it only in tex paint mode(in textured shading mode) in materia shading mode - working with bug too. In rendered and solid mode working without bug.
I still can't reproduce...maybe that video might be helpful after all...could you upload it, see if we are on the same page (though I'm afraid issue might be specific to the computer)
Also I see that this is a pretty old graphics driver, is there anything more recent?
I'm sorry for worrying. I was updated my video driver, and that bug dissapeared on all versions.Bug with crushing in object mode - dissapeared too.

Problem solved :)
