System Information
windows7 64
ASUS ATI Radeon HD6870

Blender Version
Broken: (all)
Worked: (none)

Short description of error
Create a plane(with use a volumetric objects - working prorerly), go to world panel in property window switch on indirrect lighting, select approximate, select plane again and create a emit material with emit map. Emit map( it is ver important) we must open in disk(don't create in blender), switch off use alfa, set emit, try to render - we will see emit, but don't see indirect lighting
loaded_map.png
if we create a image in blender and use as emit map - workind OK
created_in_blender.png

If we use a volumetric objects like this{F103005}
we will have another error:
emit_render.png
indirect is present, but incorrect, and only if we create a two materials:1st - emit 2nd - not emit - glowing properly

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1)poen this{F103013}
and try to render (glowing is present)
2)switch off created in blender texture and switch on opened in local disc, render - indirect lighting(glow) is absent
3)open this emit_bug.blend
render, look on result

This is the same your previous report -- we can't make algorithm fast and approximate and accurate at the same time. Accurate algorithm is called "Raytrace". This is also mentioned in the tooltip of this settings.

Thanks for the report, but it's just a limitation of approximated approach.

If i use a Raytrace algorithm - i don't see glow(indirect)

Do you mind reporting it as a separate issue with .blend file? So it's not getting lost
