create texture, set keyframes on any parameters, use this texture for brush or brush mask
go to dope sheet, NLA editor, and graph editor - we will not see in this windows nothing

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
open this file brush_anim_bug.blend
and look on dope sheet, graph editor and NLA editor - we will not see this actions in this windows
select tex with node for brush and brush mask, look on dope sheet, graph editor and NLA editor
we will not see this actions in this windows

if we fix this it will very good. combine custom properties, texture nodes and animaton we can create gradients, different effects. many types of lines, and we will not have any limits.
if we use custom properties

we can switch between different types of brush settings with one touch!
if we animate(or time manage in node editor) coordinates - we will receive wavy line, broken line, spirals and other shapes.
For best speed we can use low resolution textures - not so visibly on result.
All this is very useful.

And else we can combine image sequence(working properly) and animation(i was try to do this and have normal speed)

Well, you're just stressing the system with something it was not intended to do. For sure improvements are possible, but here blender works as it was designed to. SO it's not a bug but rather a TODO.
