System Information
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit, Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX, Intel GMA 4500M

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.72 Testbuild1 d919218
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
I'm making a face model and an odd blue segment shows on the nostrils of my face model. I haven't textured my model yet. Can someone take a look to see if it's a bug.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

I downloaded your file and took a look at it (Blender on Windows 7)...

At first sight it appears that the faces on the outer portion of the nostrils are all back-facing... This shows up (in my version of Blender) as a dark grey on the actual mesh modeling (right side of screen) and as a sort of light slate blue on the mirrored portion of the modeling (left side of screen).

I recalculated the mesh (so that all normals pointed outwards) and the display problem went away.

Thank you very much for showing me.

Blue_Strip.blend

Yep, no bug here, just flipped normals…
