AVI Raw export produces broken files if the image width is not a multiple of 4 #42098

System Information
Windows 7 Pro x64, AMD Radeon HD 7850

Blender Version
Broken: 2.72 95182d1

As indicated by the title, exporting an animation using "AVI Raw" as output format produces broken AVI files if the width isn't a multiple of 4. It only happens when using AVI Raw, not with AVI JPEG and the height is not affected. The bug appears to be pretty old, as #4201 shows, but is still present in most recent versions.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Simply create a composite node with any solid color as output image and render the animation using AVI Raw as output format and a resolution of 99x100. Blender should create an AVI file without any issues, but the file will be broken and can't be played with any media player. Riffpad shows that each frame has a size of 29800 bytes instead of 29700 (see screenshot).

Here's the comparison of a 99x100 and a 100x99 AVI file in Riffpad:

avi_raw_bug.png

I suspect it has something to do with the lines 127 and 132 in avi_rgb.c.
