Short description of error
When I select a vertex on a single object in Full Screen Mode (Alt-F10), the viewport color changes from the value in the material tab to a neutral color. The correct color returns when exiting Edit Mode and clicking on the object or exiting Full Screen Mode. Note this behavior does not occur in the normal viewport editing (non full screen) nor when there is a second object in the scene.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
From the default cube.

  1. Assign a material to the cube
  2. Set a viewport color Materials > Settings > Viewport Color
  3. Enter Full Screen (Alt-F10)FullScreenBug.blend
  4. Enter Edit Mode (Tab)
  5. Select a vertex
  6. Observe the viewport color changes to a default gray
  7. Exit Edit Mode (Tab)
  8. Click on cube and observe viewport color is restored

Do the same without entering Full Screen mode and observe the object viewport color does not change. (Correct behavior)
Add another object to the scene and repeat the steps above and observe the object viewport color does not change (Correct behavior)

This is a known issue and should be fixed already. Please test with the latest build from buildbot .
