crash blender with render mode (with cycle only) #43840

Hello,

I just bought a new machine:

bi-xeon 2600V3
geforce gtx780ti
32g DDR4
ssd hd
win7 pro

By opening Blender 2.73, I first had systematic crash, he launches 3 sec and then crash, I never was able to open it this way, I finally found the solution blender forum (install the latest version of python and then copy the files in the folder python blender) .There, it works but when I render switches to whether cpu or gpu, it always crash?

  • Ensure both your OS and drivers are fully up-to-date.
  • Try to disable any running antivirus.
  • Ensure you have no python executable available in your %path% envvar.
  • Try the latest build from our buildbot.
  • Try to start Blender in factory settings (--factory-startup commandline option) (this will ensure whether this is a userpref or addon issue or not).
  • Try to tweak OGL settings in UserPreferences, System tab.
  • Attach here the report generated by Help -> System Info.
  • Try to place this dll next to your blender.exe (software OGL, will be slow, but will show whether this is a driver issue or not).

Ensure you have no python executable available in your %path% envvar. I visited but I have not seen anything on python (it has a particular var a look?)

  

Try the latest build from our buildbot. INSTALL

  

Try to start Blender in factory settings (--factory-startup commandline option) (this will ensure whether this is a userpref or addon issue or not). This is a first opening blender, I have nothing touched in add-on or preference

  

Try to tweak OGL settings in UserPreferences, System tab. TESTING

 

Try to place this dll next to your blender.exe (software OGL, will be slow, but will show whether this is a driver issue or not). TESTING

You should never have to erase Blender's bundled Python with a custom Python installation, I guess this is what triggers the crash. So could you repeat the tests mentioned by Bastien without the Python hack, just using a out-of-the-box Blender build (from buildbot)?
