System Information
W8.1 64b, GF250

Blender Version
2.74 RC

Short description of error
When I change my Start in timeline (I want render it from frame 87), my binded cameras are not working well. I am using three cameras with binding to markers. When Start is 0, it is ok.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open seqBug.blend
  2. Play animation
  3. Camera is switched to Camera.001 in sequencer without marker

Using scene in it's own sequencer combined with frame offset is asking for troubles with current sequencer..

@Psy-Fi, it might be either as simple as doing durian camera switch trick before rendering the strip or it might be just a TODO for more major sequencer recode.

Are the markers the problem or the fact that the contents of the scene do not even match? Just try animating the objects in the scene and you see what I mean.

This is known limitation, will close as TODO. Personally I would be against even allowing scene in its own sequencer, but some people find it useful.

I am using scene in own sequencer due to preview of camera cut. I have many cameras in scene and I use binded marker for camera switch, but only in sequencer I can see preview of this cuts.

You must make another scene and then put that in the sequencer. This will work better.

It is true, but your workflow will be:

  1. Set marker for camera cut
  2. Switch scene for view camera cut
  3. Switch back for edit camera cut
  4. Swich scene for view changes ... etc.

So it is not very comfortable I think.

You can have two blender windows with different scenes on each. Not exactly a fix but a workaround until we rethink how sequencer should be.

Thanks for tip, I see that it is not possible have two different scene in one instance of Blender together, so you think run Blender again as new instance?

Of course it's possible, you just have to use two windows and make sure that "Global Scene" under the interface tab in user preferences is not enabled.
