Short description of error
After install from .zip file downloaded today in latest Blender, can't activate due to error:

Well, looks like this is an error in Blen4Web addon, not in Blender? Please make report to their team…

"TypeError: OpenKey() argument 2 must be str without null characters or None, not str"

It installs just fine upon downgrading to Blend4Web 14.12 and Blender 2.72. Solved for now!
