Convert Hair Particules (Whole Group) doesn't respect duplicated Group Hierarchy #44621

LinuxMint 17.1
Geforce GTX780

Blender Version
Blender 2.74
Doesn't work on all 2.74 I tried from release 000dfc0 to daily bc2f77e

Short description of error
On a Hair Particle System duplicating a whole group wich includes parenting,
Using Convert from Modifiers stack will generate all objects, but all independant, loosing the parenting hierarchy.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Create a group with one object parenting another one.
Create a Hair Particle system on the default cube and set rendering to the previous group and check WholeGroup option.
And hit Convert in the modifiers panel.

I apologise if this have been discussed before, but I didn't find any related bugs about it.

I tried to workaround the problem and realized it's the same behaviour on Apply Make Duplicates Real operator.
I suspect this have been talked before.

I don't know if it has been discussed or reported before, but basically this is not supported, we won't consider it a bug.

The duplication system puts all objects into a list for quick drawing or render, and flattens any kind of hierarchy. Making it work requires major changes to the duplication system, it would add quite a bit of complexity and there's more important limitations to address first.
