Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open Blender, on Python Console run
Import lzmaChanged status to: 'Open'
Added subscriber: @GabrielCaraballo
On Blender 2.76b for Windows it works

Changed status from 'Open' to: 'Resolved'
It should now be fixed with builds being prepared at builder.blender.org (was a mistake in python compiled for linux release env).
