Short description of error

GPU Rendering is stopped after BVH Tree Building with following error message:

Open CL Error (-61) : CL invalid Buffer size in cl create buffer

Please attach a .blend file, so we can judge the size of the scene. Could be an allocation issue (card not having enough memory).

I used the " 81407{F266192} Big D " and the " 74646 Terrarium Bot " from Blend Swap when the issue came up.
The GPU has 1024 Mb , Blender indicated peak memory around 800 Mb.

Smaller scenes like C3PO and R2D2 were rendered fine on GPU too.

How can i estimate the max possible {F266191}scene size for this GPU?

Sounds like an out of memory issue. Blender as you said takes 800mb leaving about only 200mb free however this is often used up by your operating system. So nothing we can do on Blender's side.
