System Information
Windows 7, x64
Core i5 2500, 16 Gb RAM, Quadro 600 1 Gb (Viewport), GTX 670 2 Gb (Rendering)
Nvidia driver ver. 347.52

Blender Version
2.76b

Short description of error
I use Quadro 600 for viewport and gtx 670 for rendering. When I open the file (any) i have 30-70 fps. After 10 minutes of working it becomes too slow 3-7 fps. Sometimes after first rendering. This problem has not been without GTX 670.

Hi, cant verify on my system with a mid complex scene.

openSUSE 13.2 (Harlequin) (x86_64)
3.0 Mesa 10.3.7
i5 3570K
4 GB Ram
GTX 670 2 GB
GTX 760 4 GB (Display)
Driver 361.28

Do you unchecked Quadro in User Preferences?
You mention fps, do you run animations in viewport?
Your driver is quiet old, check for latest stable.

Cheers, mib

Yes, Quadro is unchecked in system preferences.
I run FRAPS to measure FPS
I updated driver (361.91), nothing changes :(

To improve this I save and restart Blender.

We've got lots of machines with dual GPU setup in the studio and never experienced such issues. Things to test:

  • Make sure you do NOT have any SLI bridges (none hardware, none enabled in the driver settings)
  • Keep an eye on resource and hardware monitor (CPU-Z for example) to check that the card is not dropping frequency due to thermal issues (extra GPU acts as oven actually).
  • Extract exact steps of reproducing the issue and moving things back to a normal working state.

Sorry, forgot this.

  1. No SLI bridges.
  2. Frequency is stable on both GPU-s.

But...
Everything is ok now, I cant catch this bug. No Windows updates, no driver updates, same Blender. I dont know, what happened.

Yes, frequency dropped :(

Sorry, frequency is not dropped, there was a frequency of idle GTX670.

Every time after 5-10 minutes of work. Close Blender, Open Blender - everything is ok, for 5 minutes.
Even without cycles rendering.

Blender is quite deterministic, so the fact that bug appears and disappears randomly indicates there are some external factors affecting on this. We can't really help figuring out what exact those factors are, it's just much easier for you to isolate them on the machine you've got issues on.
