Pressure sensitivity not working on newer Wacom tablets in Windows7
Closed, ArchivedPublic

Description

I'm using Blender 2.77a with Window7. I have both a Cintiq 22HD and a new Intuos Creative tablet - however, Blender does not respond to the pressure sensitivity of either of them. However, when I use an old Intuos 3, Blender is able to detect pressure sensitivity.

For some reason, Blender can't handle pressure information from these newer tablets.

Thanks for the report, but it doesn't seem there's to be obvious bugs in Blender -- we're just using wintab32.dll driver to communicate with tablets. On windows we don't have any device white lists or so (as we kind of have on Linux). This makes issue really hard to troubleshoot unless some of developers have access to the hardware (or unless there's a user who can test patches).

For until developer or technical enough can reproduce the issue, considering it a TODO [1]

Thanks for the report anyway!
