Short description of error
If i'm using render nodes to output a file on a given location, but the directory name to save animations from the output options on the render tab of the properties editor type is set to a directory that doesn't exists (i changed the hard drives letters), blender renders only the first frame of the image sequence
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
make an animation, use the compositor nodes to render a file to a given location, set the output path of the render tab on the properties editor type to a non existing path buggyoutput.blend
I think blender should make a warning that the output path doesn't exists, it took me a lot of time to figure it out what it was causing the issue, after upgrading the pc and using an old file made on the pc before the upgrade.

i forgot to add the final step to Exact steps for others to reproduce the error:
press Ctrl+f12 to render the active scene, then it will render only the start frame of the frame range selected

I can't reproduce the issue, but i needed to modify output paths, since i'm on linux and don't have neither
C:\
norA:\
drivers.I think the issue here is that you're using
A:\
in the render output settings. AFAIR, it is always supposed to be a floppy on Windows which is most likely missing for you. So Blender fails to save the file, and hence aborts rendering. If that's not the case, please let us know and attach error messages printed to the console.
hi Sergey!,
no, i just wrote it the A: for the uploaded blend file, because i don't have an A: drive, sorry my mistake.
but that's the thing, it aborts after the first frame but it doesn't give a warning sign on the gui, as the console doesn't gets opened by default on windows anymore..., now that you mention the console i noticed that it could have saved me a lot of time, but it was hard for me to understand what it was going on.
Greetings!
