Naming inconsistency between Toggle Maximise/Fullscreen Area #48703

System Information
Suse Leap 42.1
NVidia GTX 560ti (official drivers)

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.77 1c19940 (buildbot)

Short description of error

  • Naming inconsistency between Toggle Maximise/Fullscreen Area
  • Difficulty reverting back after View->Toggle Fullscreen Area

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
The spacebar search; Screen: Toggle Fullscreen Area (Ctrl Up Arrow)
does the same operation as; View->Toggle Maximise area (Ctrl Up Arrow)

Which is confusing since there's also; View->Toggle Fullscreen Area (Alt F10)
which gives a different outcome.

Also related (but possibly should be a separate bug report); the last command can be a problem as there isn't a clear visual way to revert back - the arrows in the top right corner only become visible when the cursor is near. Is it safe to assume the user will remember the shortcut and that it isn't already in use by the desktop WM (xfce has a lot of alt-based shortcuts by default)?
