Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Short description of error
biped.leg Sample is not working correctly anymore. DEF bones and FK controls not appearing somehow.
Not sure if it's even necessary to use this sample anymore since pitchipoy.limbs.super_limb behaves the same now since it has the FK/IK Snap.
on another note I would like to add a quadruped Metarig, can I do it over this website? or maybe via the cloud?
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Add Armature - Human (Metarig)
then Rigify generate rig.
Turn on FK control for legs and arms and also Layers 29 and 31 for the DEF and ORG bones, you will see they are all missing

@mont29, shall we consider this a stopper for 2.78 release?
I know that blenrig is the new thing, but to be honest, as an animator, I still use rigify extensively, and I know a lot of others as well.
the biped.leg sample could be removed instead of fixed, but then the human metarig should be updated with the pitchipoy.limbs sample, I could do that if you want.
I also published a metarig for quadruped that would be nice to add into blender

Following those steps i can't reproduce this error on 2.78a. All DEF and ORG bones are on the respective layers and correctly displayed.
