Video sequence editor openGL render crashes Blender
Closed, ArchivedPublic

Description

System Information
Windows 10, Nvidia GTX 950

Blender Version
2.78a

Short description of error
I started to create a grease pencil animation witch multiple scenes, and the scenes were cut together in sequencer. It works fine in playback, but when I click either the opengl render viewport frame or movie, blender crashes, in console it shows: Error: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
The last time it worked, only the first 5 scene was there, so maybe the problem is in the 4 newer.

The grease pencil animations use many new features.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Press the one of the 'OpenGL Render Active Viewport' button in the video sequence editor

Update
I found the cure for my problem:
The separate scene 'vágás' for video cut contained a grease pencil layer, when I removed it, the crashing stopped.

This appears to be a duplicate of (fixed) issue T49975

I haven't drawn in the vse viewport, but maybe it is the same issue. I have only drawn in the 3d viewport.

Ok, i have tested with the current nightly build, and now it works fine :)

Alright then, I'll close the task as archived. :)

Related to T50051 (fixed after 2.78a release).
