Hi,
This is an open notice to the addons patch tracker participants.
On behalf of the blender addons dev team, we thank you all for your contributions here during the blender 2.,5/6/7 series of addons
Thank You All.

This project saw through the scripts in 2.4x right through to the current version.
For those of you who did not make it into Blender addons release or addons contrib in nightly builds, especial thanks. I see the most popular being used still & know that people viewed your work.

The patch tracker can be a hard task master, some addons were worthy but over looked, others didn't quite fit in or did not do as much as they could, being too specific. manpower was also low, sometimes addons were submitted then the author vanished, other addons did not fit code requirements but we did the best we could.
At the end of the day, simply we could not add everything & cater for everyone.

The current tasks in this tracker will be automatically closed shortly after the Blender 2.79 release.

With respect to the people who submitted addons here, please feel welcome to submit your addon again when it's tested working in what will be Blender 2.8 series.
We thank you all for your help over the years,. Thank You.

In Blender 2.8 addons will have a new role & new requirements, some of which are yet to be discovered or written. A clean start here is needed.
We look forward to seeing you there.

hi, as from the 14th of February 2019 all patches relating to Blender 2.79 series will be auto Archived.
If your addon patch is Archived and relates to Blender 2.8 Please re-submit your patch.
Due to the changes in the Blender api, some patches may be conflicting with current standards.
Thank You for your participation and we will see you again in the Blender 2.8 addons series..
