Separate all Unusable For Large Objects Since 2012 #50577

With objects with many vertices (over 50,000) blender can't separate all by loose objects. This has been reported as a bug in the past but always closed because it's not a bug but a "performance issue" which needs "optimization" but it has been half a decade and the function is practically unusable.

The easiest thing to do would be make it so that it only analyses the selected vertices for separation because if you select 4 disconnected vertices and say separate by loose parts it will take forever because there are 100,000 vertices are selected even though you only want to analyse the vertices in your selection.

Please do not create useless task duplicating existing ones you are already aware of, including explanations given in those (cf #30012)! This is very close to spamming, we (people developing blender and managing the tracker) have other things to do than wasting time on such things.
