Short description of error
Whenever I try to do something in blender it gets super laggy - doesn't matter what I do.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps

Please, can you attach the system-info.txt generated from the Help> Save System Info menu by dragging and dropping the whole .txt file into the comment field ( do not paste it's contents directly in the comment field it is difficult to read and breaks up the formatting).

For some further reading about how to attach files to reports check the link here:
https://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:Doc/Process/Bug_Reports

This is most likely related to the GPU/ drivers combination and possibly to OS updates. Lately, there is a series of reports in #50650 affecting Nvidia drivers and Win10 updates,
but to verify that we need the system-info.txt.

Marking as Incomplete until the requested information is provided.

Since you're having a Nvidia 820M GPU it's quite possible that the error is similar/identical to #50650.

Try to update with the official Nvidia drivers for your OS and GPU instead of the windows update one.

You can see an example that worked here :
Link to a post in #50650

That opengl file is the Blender software renderer - everything will be rendered on the CPU - so it'll be slow. It is used to check if there is a problem with a specific GPU/driver (for debug purposes only) and not as a solution.

Since your framerate has increased compared to before - it means that driver for the GPU is the problem.

More than a week without reply. Due to the policy of the tracker archiving for until required info/data are provided.

Pretty certain it’s same issue as in #50650 anyway.
