Double subsurf modifier breaks UV texturing

Open the file,
make the last modifier visible (a subsurf) and look at the texture display on the ears of the character.

Your texture is constructed in a way that one shouldn't "smooth" UV with subsurf. Disabling "Subdivide UVs" makes your texture to map properly.

Thanks for the report, but it's not a Blender bug here.
