Sculpting artifacts after undo

Submitted on behalf tyridge77 from Blender IRC. He reports the artifacts happen when using displacement texture with the sculpt brush with F SculptDraw. The mesh leaves behind some artifact after an undo.

Here is an example of what is happening.
What's happening

User reports that the artifact goes away when he goes into edit mode and back to sculpt mode.
This trick might be a problem for users with very high poly models which could pose a problem when going into edit mode.

Workaround trick

User did not provide Blender build hash or example blend file. Will update task with that information once given.

I think that this was caused by T66312, and that was fixed in 2.81, so this should not longer happen. Please open a new report again if the bug is still there on the latest version.
