System Information
Operation System: 64-bit
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M
Blender Version
Broken: 2.79 5bd8ac9
Worked: 2.78c e92f235283
Short description of error
I've added the "Add Curve: Sapling Tree Gen" add-on and saved the user settings. When I want to add the Curve -> Sapling Tree Gen, it should show the base of a tree, but mine didn't show up.
I've tried reinstalling Blender in Steam and also downloaded the zipped file in blender.org, but it still doesn't show.
In order to show the tree, download the older version in order for the tree to show.

@JackNelsonGD from the screenshot seems that you are in local mode.
Press the default
numpad /
to exit the local mode and the Tree will be there. The same behavior was present in Blender
2.76.10
and2.78.4

The tree did show up now, I didn't know you need to exit local mode in order for the tree to show up.
I had the same problem with
Append/Link
objects too, but it's all visible after exiting local mode. Thanks a ton!
